The “Digital Health in the Screenage” event hosted by Cell Towers not in the Neighbourhood features three great speakers.

Outline of the Event:
Guest speakers will be discussing the concerns and dangers of wireless and screen based technologies on our physical, emotional and mental health. They will discuss ways to minimise these effects and suggest safe practices for in the home, education, work and wider community settings.
Special Guest Speakers
Dr Mary Redmayne PhD: Wellington based independent researcher, educator and consultant. Adjunct Research Fellow with Victoria University of Wellington (School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences) and Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. (BA, Grad Dip Teach, Grad Dip Env Stud, PhD).
Main focus: effects of radio-frequencies from exposures pre-birth to 18. Effects of extensive screen use on health: developmental, physical, mental and spiritual. Electrohypersensitvity (EHS)
Dr Wiremu Manaia PhD: Senior Lecturer of Information and Technology at Manukau Institute of Technology.
Dr. Manaia will be speaking about the negative impact of technology evolution, youth social media addiction and 5G integration for future millennial generations. Dr Manaia will discuss his research and presents a model and resources for leaders, parents & communities confronted with these issues.
Professor Grant Schofield: Professor of Public Health at Auckland University of Technology and Director of the Human Potential Centre at AUT Millennium. Professor Schofield will be speaking about using the precautionary principle with regards to wireless technology.
